Welcome to Homegrown Adventures! My name is Jenny, and I am happily married to my husband, C.J. We live in a very homeschool friendly area in the Midwest, which is such a blessing. Some day we hope to be southerners though!
Along with being a homeschooling mother, I enjoy meeting new people,
traveling, teaching, attempting to creative, organizing, reading, and bargain
shopping for my family of 8- I love thrift stores!!

We have 3 wonderful children, Samuel, Sarah, and
Madelyn. Before I even became a mother, I felt led to homeschool my
children, although the confidence to jump in and do it wasn’t there
in the beginning. With the support of my husband, I started the
incredible journey of helping my children develop a lifelong love of
learning.
In December 2013, we became foster parents!! This undertaking has not been without stress and grief, but we've found joy along the way. Our family has grown in size, and we're currently fostering three adorable babies.
